Welcome to the Webelos I Den

Den Leader: Tiffany Sollog Assistant Leader: John Henry

Check out our calendar for any updates: http://www.localendar.com/public/Cubmaster254

A couple of "always important" notes:
1. Please remember to bring your son's Webelos book to every den meeting, so that I can sign his achievements.
2. Please contact me at any time if your son falls behind, or if you will be away or miss a meeting.
3. Please try not to have your scout work too far ahead of the others in the Webelos achievements (unless you will be away on vacation). We would like to have the boys earn the majority of their achievements as close together as possible.
4. Please feel free to work on the Traveler badge at any time before the boys become Boy Scouts. Your son can get credit for it at any meeting, as long as he reviews what he did with us.
5. Please have your son address the leaders as "Mr." or "Mrs." with their last name. It is important that they get into that habit soon, because they will be doing that when they are in Boy Scouts.
6. If you know of anyone who can help our boys earn one of their activity badges, or if you know of a fun way to earn a badge, please reach out to me. I welcome any ideas for helping the boys enjoy their experience with Pack 254.

The Center for Disease Control has a great page for camping safety. Please take the time to review it before going camping with your son, or sending him off for camp:

Camping is a fun way to get family and friends together to enjoy the outdoors. Follow these tips and use the packing checklist to help ensure your camping trip is safe and healthy.
