Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 254 in Mays Landing, NJ. Located in Atlantic County, we are part of the Jersey Shore Council and share the same mission and vision

as our Council:

Mission:

To be an integral part of our community while providing every kid in the Mays Landing area an opportunity to be in a quality Scout program that builds character,

citizenship, and personal fitness while teaching values and instilling character.

Vision:

To continue the legacy of Scouting by instilling the words to live by of our Scout Oath and Law in today's diverse society and to be recognized as the leading youth

service organization in New Jersey while positively impacting our community, its families and children.

Commitment to our Parents and Scouts:

1. Ensure your Scout is protected by training all Scout leaders according to the mandated guidelines set forth by the Boy Scouts of America Organization. Your

Scout's safety is our top priority!

2. Make sure that everything we do in the Pack or the individual Dens are to work toward progressing against rank, developing well rounded Scouts, building

character and citizenship, and teaching positive values.

3. Improve communications, planning, and organization between the Pack and parents.

4. Involve parents and Akela's. (Yes, this means you!)

5. Teach your Scout the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined in the Cub Scout Handbooks (according to their level, age, and readiness).

6. HAVE FUN and Do MORE! It's not just our motto, it's our goal. 254....We Do More!
